Access control cards

Access cards are used as an alternative to keys and offer the opening of defined doors. The access to different areas is possible by different encoding on the cards. For example in hotels you can have a room key card that also opens the door to the Sauna. The cleaning staff has a key card that opens all doors. Safety areas on airports or industrial plants can be protected by Access control systems. Also in public swimming pools, Sports stadiums or Gyms Access control cards are widely used.

Plastic cards for access control can be equipped with magnetic stripe, QR-Code, Barcode, Contact- or RFID-chips - depending on the necessary level of security and the hardware.

Additional personalization with a photo makes the Access control card even more safe against misuse. Especially employee ID cards are usually personalized by a photo of the card holder.
