There are applications where the Plastic card needs to fit in different systems. In this case a Hybrid card is the ideal solution. The classic example is a bank card. The magnetic stripe contains data for the ATM and statement printer, the contact chip is the electronical purse.

Wherever different Hardware or different generations of reading units are in use, Hybrid cards are offering the functions for clients or employees in just one card.

If, for example, in a company the time control and the accounting for the canteen is made by different suppliers that are not connected, the Hybrid card can offer access to both systems.
